The influence of parents, families, early childhood care and education, and community on a child’s development are all integral components that contribute to the overall wellbeing of children. Parents provide a source of love and security for their children (Trivellato et al., 2020). This unconditional support helps foster fundamental skills such as self-regulation, communication and problem solving. Families have an especially important role in providing stability by setting expectations, values and boundaries (Nguyen & Davidson 2019). It is also essential for parents to be involved in their child’s education. Not only do they serve as a resource for support but also help promote an interest in learning by demonstrating educational success at home.
