The tympanic membrane focused health assessment history is a comprehensive evaluation used to assess a patient’s eardrum, also known as the tympanic membrane. It includes physical examination, review of symptoms and medical history, imaging tests such as an audiogram or ultrasound, hearing tests, otoscopy (visual inspection of the ear canal and eardrum) and other diagnostic tests if needed.
