When considering the sin of suicide and thus, euthanasia from the perspectives provided in the readings, it is important to reflect on the moral implications associated with these acts. Suicide and euthanasia are both considered serious transgressions that go against religious dogma—in Christianity specifically, these acts are seen as going against God’s will (Gibson & Solomon , 2020). This view has created a sense of shame surrounding suicides and attempts at assisted suicide such as through euthanasia.
