As an individual, he is self-sufficient and is known to be a good listener that often keeps to himself resulting in social isolation and cognitive impairment due to age. He has some financial stability which provides him access to basic necessities however limited interaction with neighbors can lead him feeling disconnected from the larger community around him. His poor mobility also makes it difficult for him to take part in activities within his neighborhood or venture too far out of it.
