Make an argument for or against buying gender specific toys, clothing etc., versus buying for the “opposite gender.”

Gender specific toys, clothing and other products are becoming increasingly popular as society is actively working to recognize and respect non-binary genders. Although there has been progress towards more inclusive toy choices in recent years, many parents still struggle with decisions concerning gender appropriate items for their children. As this is a topic of much debate, it is important to consider both sides of the argument before making a decision about buying gender specific toys, clothing and other related items.
