My clinical issue of interest is the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for lower back pain. The use of these medications has been shown to be beneficial in reducing pain, inflammation and improving mobility. However, their long-term efficacy and safety remain controversial due to potential side effects such as gastrointestinal symptoms and cardiovascular events.
