Describe your acculturation experience as a new graduate to the culture of the nursing profession

Acculturation is the process of adapting to a different culture, and it can be a difficult process as one navigates new cultural norms and expectations. As a recent graduate in the nursing profession, I have been immersed in an entirely new environment with its own unique set of values and customs. Through my experience, I have come to understand how valuable acculturation is for me as an individual nurse, but also for the team I am part of and the patients we serve.
