Choose a subject and identify modifiable and no modifiable risk factors. Identify methods to prevent Coronary artery disease (CAD) in the subject. What can you recommend to your classmate’s subjects?

In order to prevent Coronary Artery Disease or reduce one’s risk of developing it, the focus should be on making lifestyle changes. This includes quitting smoking if you do smoke; if you don’t smoke then it is best to avoid exposure by avoiding secondhand smoke which has been proven to increase your chance of contracting CAD. It is also important to get regular exercise as this helps maintain a healthy weight and keeps your cardiovascular system functioning properly . Eating a balanced diet with plenty of vegetables and fruits is also recommended  as this will provide essential nutrients necessary for maintaining good heart health . Finally , reducing stress levels can help reduce one’s risk of developing CAD by decreasing cortisol levels – leading towards better body functioning overall !

As for my classmate‘s subjects , it would advisable recommend same steps mentioned above alongside additional measures like taking part annual checkups so that any potential diseases/symptoms can be caught early ; furthermore they could also look into changing their environment/surroundings creating healthier spaces themselves through introduction plants & greenery etc which have been shown beneficial both mental & physical wellbeing – thus giving those around them opportunity live longer healthier lives !
